He's systematically been destroying the lives of every police chief in Asia, and he's now set his sights on Washington, DC. Between you and me, the police don't have a chance. The cover reads “makes kick-a$$ look like sh!t”. I would say it “makes kick-a$$ look like a kids book”. Most people are asking themselves who the heck is this Nemesis person and why do I care? Nemesis could be called, in our current climate, a terrorist. He’s a cop-killing maniac whose motives are yet to be revealed. This could be the goriest comic of the year. It’s rare that an artist focuses on the bits of brain, intestines, and fingers that get mixed up in a horrific death. If that sounds cool to you, buy this book!
At first glance, it didn’t appeal to me to read a book about a villain who massacres civilians for fun on his quest to kill cops world-wide. Enter Blake Morrow, super-cop (figuratively) who makes John McClane look like a girl scout. ‘Nuff Said. Millar got one thing right: it is an action-packed issue with tons of shocking, bloody moments from one insane villain.
