Bravo! What a fantastic debut for the one and only Power Girl! This was a superb first issue that found a very comfortable pace right from the beginning. Both the secret and public identities of Karen Starr and Power Girl, respectively, were given adequate time to establish their parts in this story while giving us a dusting of robots and destruction along the road to a larger reaching conflict. Mix in some humor with some visual gags and it sounds to me like you have a winning recipe for a first issue. What really pushed the whole deal over the top was Amanda Conner’s art. Her expressions were brilliant and her bold line style really compliments everything perfectly. I absolutely love the way she draws Power Girl as Karen Starr. This one is a CAN’T MISS!
