BONUS REVIEW by MIKE WALL
Ever since Dark Horse has gotten ahold of the Robert E. Howard properties, they have failed to disappoint. The Savage Sword #1 is a case in point. Yes, it does have a Conan story, but the four other stories are characters that only true Howard fans know of. All the stories are new except the Bran Mak Morn, yet it is the first time in color. If you are a fan of Conan, check this out for the are so many more interesting characters that Howard created. There are two drawbacks to the book: 1) it comes out every 6 months, which is not enough for my liking. 2) It has a $7.99 price tage, but for me it was worth every penny. It also only had ads for Howard related products. The book was a fun ride that everyone should enjoy.
