REVIEW by Brian Fisher
Xavin’s motives for his actions in issue one are revealed here, as Teddy, a.k.a. Hulkling, a.k.a. Dorrek from the Young Avengers is revealed to be the Skrull messiah. The child of a Skrull princess and the Kree hero, Captain Marvel, Dorrek is supposed to bring about universal peace and harmony. But not if the invading Skrull army has anything to say about it. The writing is as sharp and humorous as anything that Vaughan or Whedon turned in on Runaways or that of Heinberg’s on YA. And the artwork by Takeshi Miyazawa is the perfect fit for this book with nice, clean lines and fantastic action.
