BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON
A perfect starting point for anyone that's left Supergirl and wants to give it a try again. The fact that Nick (Morning Glories, Infinite Vacation) Spencer was taking over the writing chores with this issue is what got me to give it a shot.
Sadly, it's Spencer's first and last issue. Hopefully co-writer James Peaty (and now the new ongoing writer) was the parts that I enjoyed most in this book.
Probably the most I've enjoyed a Supergirl comic in the past 5 years, Spencer & Peaty effortlessly weave a story of intrigue that instantly has me looking forward to the next issue.
Art efforts by Bernard Chang are sure to please most everyone, though I don't like the stupid gold things on Supergirls arm, his storytelling was top notch.
A great example of making a b-list character getting a-list handling. I'll be reading more!
