That's not fake blood on the set...it's the real thing! There's murder at the movie studio, so the Spirit -- who's taken plenty of hard knocks in his time -- gets a job as a stuntman to help solve the crime.
BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS
I'm reviewing both GROO: HELL ON EARTH #4 here, as well as THE SPIRIT #16. A pair of Aragones/Evanier books. For Groo, the best way to fight pollution is to, um, chase those who call you “Mendicant”. For Spirit, only thing worse then being a stunt double is to get your case mixed up. One has a letter page, too, and one doesn’t. In the one that does, it proves that they care. In the one that doesn’t, it was an oversight. They both get the same rating, however.
