Jumping into issue 2 without prior knowledge, I actually found this interesting without knowing what had happened prior. Tyler Bleszinski's story and dialog really spotlight some of the older Transformers that I remember my brother owning. The Constructicons and the Insecticons had brief periods of popularity but didn't last long back then. So it was cool to see them get real personalities. And Livio Ramondelli's art gives new meaning to glowing. Definately a must read for fans of the original toys.
