As far as I can tell this imprint, MODERN COMICS, has nothing to do with the Charlton Comics reprint line of 'Modern Comics' that we saw in the early 80s, but seems to instead by a division of a New York publisher that wanted to try their hands at comic book publishing. I can't find much else about them online, and these books are fairly difficult to come across since 'Modern Comics' didn't have a big fan following.
