There's a distinct lack of menace, and a prevailing wave of optimism on just about every page of this book. I don't like. It makes me nervous.
The representatives from the Commonwealth visit all the communities that make up Rick's little kingdom, and the only people who come off as unreasonable are the people in charge of each group. Too convenient, right?
Kirkman is a slick b*st*rd and this is the first issue of an arc. There's no way this stands pat. Maggie, I'm with you.
