First there was Batman #700, then Superman #700, and now Wonder Woman #600. Not sure if it’s true, but I read once where Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were the only continuously published characters since the 1940’s, putting special meaning behind these issues. In any case, it’s obvious DC put in additional care of this milestone issue: the solid intro by Lynda Carter; a story drawn by George Perez; Egg Fu; a center-fold by Jimenz; a team-up with Superman; almost all stories written by women; and the debut of a change that has been decades coming. A good issue, with many of the small details covered. Give it a try; she’s stuck around for good reason.
