BONUS REVIEW by PASTOR SAM

The 3 act play structure is thought by many historians to date back to 2500 BC in Egypt. A little over 4500 years later, Mark Waid seems to have it down to a science. Issue 6 brings the exciting conclusion of a story about a blind kid, a Bruiser, and a badge, to say much more would be a disservice. What can be said is the villain here definitely needs to pop up in other books. This is a villain who “has a dream”, he wants to be the best, whether that means fighting Ox or the Hulk. The best part is, he has the attitude and skills to do it! This is a total surprise when one goes in thinking, great, another super-strong Daredevil baddie. As for the rest of the story Mr. Waid strays from formula in the final act, as rather than have his protagonist return to equilibrium, he instead manages to propel Matt into a bigger, more potentially deadly situation than we found him. Jump on and find out how!
