Jen van Meter (Black Lightning) and Andy MacDonald (PUNISHER: WAR JOURNAL) take you back to a time when the fate of the United States rested not only in thousands of men fighting for freedom overseas, but also in the hands of the women back home building the equipment that would keep the country running and winning!
So get ready Axis Annie, Vichy Vixen, and...Madame Mauzer! Her name might be Miss America…but she sure ain’t gonna miss a chance to sock evil in the face!

BONUS REVIEW by Jimmy PS Hayes
OK, I picked this up because as everyone knows, Jimmy’s the King of hot girl comics. And, for the record, this is NOT a hot girl comic. For one, the current Miss America, Miss Katie Stam, doesn’t even appear in the comic. Instead we get some FULLY-DRESSED super-heroine with GLASSES. GLASSES. Yeah, real practical while fighting a group of Femi-Nazis. The back up stories were hokey and fun to laugh at(everyone knows that it’s easy to use your super-speed when you’re smoking cigarettes CONSTANTLY), but not much else. Celebrate Marvel’s 70th anniversary some other way.
