All Star Western #34 (2011)

While I am sad over the loss of the New 52's only western title, I am overjoyed at the way Palmiotti and Gray take us out! Mixing the pre-New 52 history of Hex with the current version was done in perfect style and some of the tidbits (no spoilers) are just plain genius! And the finale allows Cooke's art to shine through the page. And best of all, the gang manages to give me a reason (that I can accept) for Hex losing his scar. Only 34 issues, but in the New 52 universe, that's a lifetime.
