Okay, John Romita Jr. is a problem similar to HPV, in that it's just always there and you can avoid noticing it until you can't. To be fair though, it seems like he's trying and if you squint hard enough you can maybe pretend it's work from his prior Spider-Man run. If you're in the camp that just can't except Peter working with Norman Osborn, or the camp that thinks it's an abomination to see Spider-Man riding a Spider-Glider and about to throw a Spider-Bomb, you need to relax about all of this and maybe I'll give you a ride in the Shawn-Buggy later. Anyway, it's more fun than it's been in a while if you can get past how visually unfortunate it may be sometimes, like a serviceable Transformers movie. As in, "I know stuff is going on in front of me but I'm not entirely sure it's supposed to look like that." Highly recommended for those who enjoy seeing Lex Luthor work with Superman, those who might not ask as much from their children's entertainment pamphlets, and anyone whos heart is not so calcified by cynicism that they know deep down inside that Spider-Man on a glider is just cool.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
