Please ignore the huge elephant. Fantastic job from Tom with building circumstances/personality/life behind the mask. It's his strength on individual books (like this). Another great example here, but it has the huge elephant: when did Mary Jane marry Peter? Come on! Who's this Mary Jane chick? So ignore the huge elephant, and pretend that Peter wasn't created to be a bachelor. Just read it, O.K.?
