This is a big Spider-Man/Norman Osborne story. It has goblin gear, webs, and Stuart Immonen on the art. Why is it I'm not finding myself excited? Why is it that the best thing about this issue is the incidental line work used on Harry Osborn's jacket? I don't have a good answer for either. I've enjoyed Dan Slott having an old fashioned long term run on this title. It looks as good as it has going all the way back to 'Brand New Day'. Maybe I'm old and tired. Maybe there's something to be said for at least one old villain still being dead. Maybe my interest in GREEN Goblin stories died on a cross of humble tin.

No, that's not it. I loved Dark Avengers and Norman's role in Siege. This just wasn't that good.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
