BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
Archie, post graduation, adrift in his thoughts, looking for purpose as America prepares to enter World War II. That's a pretty great pitch for an Archie period piece, right? It's a pretty great book too. To see America's smiling boy know he is somewhat useless but knowing he doesn't have to be is nearly (nearly mind you) an argument that all we'd need to undo a bit of this navel gazing is a genuine unavoidable crisis. After all, it can't be all sunshine and roses if you have fascists just around the corner, just over the pond, looking for an 'in'. Strong stuff from Mark Waid, Brian Augustyn, and Peter Krause and highly recommended. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
