(W) Alex De Campi (A/CA) Robert Hack Betty, Veronica, and Predator-Archie have been left in the wreckage of their town, all their friends dead. Normally, they'd just go down Memory Lane and get home again where everything's okay, but that's no longer an option. It isn't until they find an undamaged car and drive it down a different road where they can finally return to Riverdale-but their hometown feels different. And it's made even more bizarre when they come face-to-face with a few people they'd never expect: themselves. Only different, newer versions.  Make mine Meta! It's like that thing where Afterlife with Archie collided with Jughead Time Police. Or it's like that thing where Archie is a Predator and all of the characters know that they're in a comic book, just like Missy Pyle did in Josie and the Pussycats. It's fascinating and well drawn, slightly reminding me of Buckaroo Banzai in terms of just being very odd in a charming way. Highly recommended for anybody that wants their head to tilt sideways when reading a comic, in the fashion of the RCA dog. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
