VITO DENICOLO'S FIRST COMICS!
Hello, my name is Vito, and I am an addict. I’ve been reading comics since I was about ten. I can’t really remember what my first comic was, but the one that stands out the most in my memory is Avengers #213. This is the infamous spousal abuse issue. That is not why I like it. Any type of abuse is wrong, and should be reported. Now I sound like a P.S.A. Anyway the reason why I picked this one is because to this day I have no idea how she received a black eye after the assault. It’s not that I don’t understand what caused it, he hit her, but I mean she’s an Avenger for Christ sake. They take on super villains, monsters, and even gods. They never appear to have any noticeable injury other than tattered clothing after a fight. For some reason she’s taken down by a back hand, and left with one hell of a shiner by the weakest member of the avengers. It hurts the brain, but it’s still a great read. Go find this issue, and read it. We have two here in St. Charles.
