There had to be a secret. This is EC style horror for the modern age, right? There are other EC tropes- consequences, judgements, art edging on cartoony by Leomacs. There's also a glimmer of hope, and that might not be a bad thing. Keeping these books finite will do this line a world of good, but lets hope the teams involved do more work here even if its not with the same characters.
