In the wake of his fateful showdown with False Face and the Splitt, the Batman of tomorrow has gone missing! With the Caped Crusader AWOL and Neo-Gotham facing the threat of one of the deadliest villains it's ever known, a new hero is needed! Bruce Wayne will turn to friends both old and new in order to keep his city safe, but that won't be enough. Fortunately, a new and mysterious protector will arrive on the scene, taking flight to save the city!

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

This is a good jumping on point for anybody interested in the title, as a woman has just donned the futuristic suit. Hopefully, she's neither sixteen nor does she come from a tough neighborhood in Chicago. Its got three things going for it, solid Sean Chen art, a great character design, and the faint whiff of speculator sweat. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a Batman book that has nothing to do with Doomsday Clock or pretty but Evil light symbols in the sky, and those who remember the cartoon fondly.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
