BONUS REVIEW by Gary Owens
Giant-size, my friend, giant-size. 18 additional pages compared to a couple other comics I bought at the same price. We have 3 stories, the first taking about the normal length of a comic, and it's great one, too. Call it a solid origin story, which used to mean more than it does now. The 2nd tale is an origin story, too; for Justice League fans, especially of the animated series, we see the ending of a plotline...if you skip this comic, then you miss its ending. That simple. And the last story has an aged Superman still fighting the good fight. The major characters are gone, or aren't as strong as they used to be, but new/old enemies abound, and the new Gen must take over, right? This is what I like about this book; the inheritance must be turned over. No other way. Admittedly little on Terry McGinnis this time around, which is a downer, but fleshing out the new world works, too.
