Grant Morrison continues his earth-shattering run on the Batman titles with this exciting, new ongoing series! Featuring art by the remarkable Yanick Paquette (SEVEN SOLDIERS: BULLETEER), BATMAN, INC. marks the next stage of evolution for The Dark Knight. BONUS REVIEW by JOHN SCHAEFER

I cannot predict how the public will react to Batman, Incorporated. I myself had a detailed arguement last Sunday with a co-worker about whether the series (Indeed, even the concept) was going to work. Batman has been having a rough year or two recently. Issue one showed however that Grant Morrison did his homework and understands the long ignored tradition of the Batmen of Other Nations. Mr. Unknown of Japan is a wonderful addition to a group which included Bird-Man, and the Legionairre. The villian is a suitable foe and reminds me of many of the odder, third tier costumed villians of the Batman back in the 60's and 70's. The storyline is most definately all Morrison. Two major highlights to the series are Catwoman's return to slinkiness toward Bruce Wayne and her observations on certain aspects of Japanese sub-culture. For me, seeing Batman and Catwoman fitting into a world by Morrison is well worth the price of admission.
