Delve into Batman's case histories and discover brand-new stories by some of comics' most exciting talents. The BATMAN team of Tom King and Mikel Janin provides a framing sequence, setting up our hand-picked teams of creators to take a look at Bat-mysteries past and present. Featuring a bevy of Batman villains, including a look at how the Scarecrow's fear toxin affects the common man, and a special story written by Tom Taylor with art by Brad Walker that teams the Dark Knight Detective with Detective Chimp.
Date Available: 10/31/2018
BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

While I'm not sure if this qualifies as a Secret Files edition, most of the stories here are creative and interesting. But by far, it is the Batman/Detective Chimp story that steals the show. It also shows that Tom Taylor know how to write a good chimp story. It also proves how this generation really needs a Brave and the Bold title! My only real complaint with the stories here is that most of them end and feel incomplete. I kept thinking that two pages got stuck together but I was constantly proven wrong. It is worth the price of admission however.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
