REVIEW by Brian Fisher
Jeph Loeb, I've come to the realization is only as good as the artists he works with. Certain artists elevate his scripts while others drag them down. Tim Sale is one of the former. Loeb is never as good as when he's working with his long-time collaborator. The Marvel "color" books are among their works together, and now Captain America: White joins the ranks of their great team-ups. Focusing more on Bucky than Cap, at least insofar as the first issue (or the zero issue) it tells the story of a teen, angst and all that only wants to be an aide to his country in a time of war, and resenting the fact that the army won't let him help.
