MINISERIES FINALE The tale of existential familial horror by JAMES TYNION IV (THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH, RAZORBLADES) & GAVIN FULLERTON (BOG BODIES, Bags) concludes here! The cross-country move continues to torment both father and son, who just wanted to leave past hauntings behind them. Might they still find escape on the West Coast?

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

James Tynion's latest little horror jaunt finishes strongly. Jamie's dad finally leans in to help his son get the protection he so desperately needs from the monster in his closet.

No, I'm just kidding, Jamie is basically in Something Is Killing The Children: The Home Game. In a world where we're all the hero of our own story, we need to never be seen or heard by anyone else to keep that as truth.

Tynion is really subtle bringing this story to a close. All the information needed has been there to put things together. He just needed to crack one or two more closet doors. Gavin Fullerton draws an appropriately bleak, black book. Most panels are 50%+ ink, probably not a good sign for a book with a child in it.

Highly recommended for people who want to feel worse after they finish reading a story, children of divorce, and any lightbulb lobbyists.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
