My college English professor said he wrote his PHD dissertation on Alice. It made me read the book, and it’s sequel, and I saw why. The art here is fantastic, and I like the loyalty to the book: we have the Cheshire cat, the Caterpillar, changing oneself (a lot), and eating mushrooms. The White Rabbit song by Jefferson Airplane played through my head as I read it. Like many graphicalizations of novels, the transitions between scenes can seem rushed, but the artwork and the whole assault on logic far surpasses that issue. Great book.
