VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Chris Burnham & Various
(A) Chris Burnham, John McCrea
(CA) Chris Burnham
The worldwide phenomenon based on the hit Shudder TV series comes to comics in a star-studded five-issue anthology series that will SCARE YOU TO DEATH. In the debut issue, CHRIS BURNHAM (DIE!DIE!DIE!, NAMELESS) terrifies with a tale of trick or treaters who are taught what happens when you mess with the wrong house. Then, legendary Batman: The Animated Series creator PAUL DINI, STEVE LANGFORD, and JOHN McCREA (DEAD EYES, Hitman) petrify with the party antics of Shingo, the birthday clown with an appetite for more than cake! Each issue of CREEPSHOW will feature different creative teams with uniquely horrifying standalone stories.

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Better than a Father's Day cake baked by Bedelia herself, this first issue has the exact tone of the Creepshow films, saucy and gross with plenty of children in peril. It's the Educational Comic of the 50's meets the gross-out irreverence of the 70's, all made with the printing presses of today! Highly recommended for fans of the films, anyone looking for something to kill fifteen minutes, and anyone who thinks the perfect afterlife would be reading a comic by candlelight in a freshly dug grave, at least until the tide rolls in...

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
