Will Damage earn his spot as the world's strongest hero-or will he be branded a villain forever? It's Damage versus the Justice League, and it'll take more than brute strength to win the day. Even with an unstoppable alter ego, Ethan's gotta use both brains and brawn to have a hope against the League, because they've got a knock-'em-dead trick up their sleeve as a nuclear option. The first year of Damage's story comes to an end-and a new chapter begins! And how does Deadman fit into the picture?

Not the biggest fan of this book when it first came out but after reading Damage's first encounter with the Justice League has given me some hope for this New Age of Heroes. Lopresti and Venditti's storyline is well done and makes me wonder why these guys aren't being offered a Justice League title. It was also somewhat nostalgic as we got cameos by Green Arrow, Guy Gardner, and Deadman. Also, having Ethan taking up his recovery at the Hall of Justice makes for infinite possibilities. This could be the turning point that gives the title some pizzazz! Waiting for issue 13.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
