An entire medieval world will be forever changed when a spaceship crash-lands from a doomed planet. Monarchs will die, kingdoms will rise, and what seemed the end of the world for many…was only the beginning! An epic high-fantasy story set in a DC Universe where nothing is what it seems… From worldwide bestselling writer Tom Taylor (DCeased, Superman: Son of Kal-El) and acclaimed artist Yasmine Putri comes a generational tale of good and evil within a brand-new DCU!

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Tom Taylor has done it again with the debut issue of this 12 part story. It's high fantasy DC that will remind some of the early, heady days of the "Elseworlds" line. The art is as good as the words, and it had me all-in by page 4. Seriously. Highly recommended for fans of Nightwing, Dceased, and Dark Ages, anybody that fondly remembers when Batman hunted Jack the Ripper and Superman's rocket landed in a different country, and anybody that wants all of the fun of a renaissance fair without the smell of nerd sweat and manure.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
