Detective Jim Corrigan has been shot on the streets of Gotham City-and the Spectre must reach out to Batman to help him find the secret assassin! RATED T

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

The Batman book pretty much everybody can love continues a great post-#1000 run with a nifty Spectre story. It's got the look and feel of twenty cents worth of Brave and the Bold from 1974, with art by Kyle Hotz, the man that should tithe to the Bernie Wrightson estate. A lot has happened to the Spectre in the last 15 years, but none of it matters here. In fact, the big white ghost with the little green booties may as well turn Batman into a giant rubber ducky. If that sentence made any sense to you, you should probably buy this book. Highly recommended for those with a fondness for seeing Batman interact with the supernatural, and those who think that criminals should be punished by being turned into a log and run through a buzz saw.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
