 Originally came here for the Checchetto art but stayed for the callbacks to Mark Waid’s Daredevil run and the fact that this is just a Marvel Comics event and not another earth shattering event that claims to change to the marvel universe forever! Being a big fan of the Daredevil Kingpin relationship it’s nice to see that be the forefront of a marvel event and letting some more of the classic New York characters shine and get some solid page time with each other to tell an interesting story. At its core the set up feels very Civil War-like, but it’s very obviously a tool for Kingpin to use to get the win over the heroes of New York. No gimmicks here, just a solid part one of a major comic crossover. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
