Trying to be positive here so...

This book is a workable primer containing every bit of origin information people who are new to Dr. Strange could need. The 80's style writing could be considered a bit simple compared to the complexity of his book FROM the 80's, but it also allows the newest of readers to try the book out without fear. The artwork is clean and in no way challenging, therefore, offensive to no one. The scary genie is put back in the bottle by the end.I'd go so far as to say its an all ages book. The only place you're likely to find that with the good Doctor is on our All Ages Graphic Novel Top 10 rack.

Not a bad place to go for anyone who likes this and wants both 'more' and 'better'.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
