Gerard Way begins to find his own voice with this issue, using the Morrison run as more of a jumping off point and less as an echo chamber. Much like any particular issue in that classic run, this book manages to explain some previously indecipherable stuff, while simultaneously managing to introduce new indecipherable stuff.
Highly recommended for those who have mastered Muscle Mystery.
