MY FIRST COMIC! by DAN W.
Of course I read comics as a kid, but the first one I actually bought myself was the Heroes Reborn Fantastic Four #1. I’m sure at the time I thought it would be worth money, but in retrospect, it actually wasn’t half bad. Jim Lee rarely disappoints on art, and the reboot for the story was modern, but still respectful of the old stories. That said, the Heroes Reborn stuff degenerated pretty quickly, especially when Marvel introduced the Wildstorm characters into those stories, but the first five or so issues of FF were pretty entertaining, and I’d say go pick them up if you don’t own them (they’re cheap).
