FCBD 2012 Spider-man Season One

FCBD 2012 Spider-man Season One

$2.50
(W) Cullen Bunn (A) Neil Edwards (CA) Julian Totino Tedesco
It's the Year of the Spider with Spidey's 50th anniversary, the debut of the blockbuster film Amazing Spider-Man, and the all new original Spider-Man Season One Graphic Novel! Do not miss out. Get the first chapter of the eagerly anticipated Spider-Man: Season One graphic novel from Cullen Bunn and Neil Edwards!
BONUS REVIEW by Dan W

This is just a sample of the Spider-Man Season One hardcover (due out this month), but it does a great job retelling the early parts of Spider-Man’s origin, stopping right before he becomes a pro wrestler. For anyone who is already familiar with Spider-Mans’ origin, there’s nothing new here; in fact, many of the beats are the same as those in Spidey’s first appearance in Amazing Fantasy. Despite that, like the Fantastic Four Season One hardcover before it, the art and modern tweaks to the story are more than enough to make it a worthwhile read. Fantastic Four moved along at a quick clip, cramming as much story into its 100+ pages and it looks as though Spider-Man Season One will follow that example. Pick up the sample this Saturday, and then look for the complete hardcover May 9th.
