FCBD 2014 Transformers Vs GI Joe #1

THIS IS THE BOOK EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR!!! Or, at I've been waiting for it since I first caught wind of this project what seems like 4 million years ago. Tom Scioli (GODLAND) has brought two awesome worlds together with ease and style. The art is extremely Kirby-esque and the body language of the characters reflects the way the action figures of the 1980's could be posed. The story is a great intro to both universes, with some great surprises. The dialog has some real gems like referring to Starscream as "The Paragon of Death". Clever title cards are used to identify the JOES as both a nice way of introducing characters and calling back to the filecards the could be collected along with the figures of time. For a free comic this has a ton to offer, including but not limited to a battlefield report, a wonderful afterward, and a whole toybox of fun!
