VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

A new, horrific detective series by Matt Kindt (Ether, Mind MGMT) and Tyler Jenkins (Grass Kings)! A no-nonsense Secret Service agent and his new-age partner investigate a mysterious box known as the 'Fear Case,' which has appeared throughout history at sites of disaster and tragedy. Whoever comes into possession of this case must pass it on within three days or face deadly consequences. The agents must track down this Fear Case while staying one step ahead of a psychotic cult and the otherwordly forces behind the Case's existence.

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Matt Kindt and the amazing Tyler Jenkins (Black Badge) bring you Fear Case, asking the question "What if the IT in 'IT FOLLOWS' was the briefcase from Pulp Fiction?". Two Secret Service agents are finishing up their rookie year working a cold case. This case is always given to rookies, and they want to help out the incoming agents by eliminating the case. Solid premise. They seem to be getting closer as time ticks down, meaning events of a horrible nature get closer to them. It's good, but not great. It has potential. Think of it as a sunnier A Walk Through Hell, but with muddier art.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
