VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Cullen Bunn
Art by Will Sliney
Cover by Mark Brooks
You know what Fearless Defenders has been missing? Dudes! It's not easy being an Asgardian shieldmaiden - especially when your boyfriend's got a chip on his shoulder! And Venom's not alone! He's brought Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Hercules, Werewolf By Night, and a legion of significant others with him!
Date Available: 09/11/2013
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Finally! This title comes into it's own. Right from the cover, you can tell this is something special. The humor, the amazing guests, and finally some 1st class Defenders villains that old school Defenders fans can get behind. The only thing that is stopping this from getting a full blown 10 is that although lessening, writer Bunn is still hammering the whole women don't need men thing. Now in all fairness, the message is wonderfully showcased in little scenes throughout the book which was fabulous. (Check out the flashback as to why Clea wants a divorce!) Even the opening sequence where the pompous men gather at the bar is a laugh riot while carrying the message home. But then we get the whole return of Kaycee thing and I can feel the sock with a brick in it hit me straight in the temple. But even this could not deter from the fact that the Fearless Defenders has hit it's stride.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
