BONUS REVIEW by John Doc Schaefer

Wow! It's 1980's week at the ole comic shop this week! Ironicly, its DC Comics that brings us back fan favorite He-Man just as they did back in the day in the Superman team-up book DC Comics Presents. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still waiting for Jem and the Holograms reboot, but do we really need a new He-Man book. He's been bouncing around the independent circuit for years with no real success (except overseas!). But thanks to James Robinson amazing intro and Phillip Tan's highly appropriate art, we may have a winner here. Instead of giving us another bare-chested Arnold Schwarzenegger with a sword, we get a milder Adam and all is not right in Eternia. Mystery abounds as Adam tries to figure out what is going on. And Tan's take on the inhabitants of Eternia is breathtaking. Beast Man finally looks terrifying! Ignore the snickers of your friends and scoop up a copy.
