Immortal Hulk Great Power #1

Immortal Hulk Great Power #1

$4.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Tom Taylor
(A/CA) Jorge Molina
THE HULK FINDS A NEW HOST: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! When Bruce Banner wakes up in the middle of the night without the Hulk, he thinks he's finally free. But the Hulk is immortal - and the night's not over yet. If you thought he was dangerous in the body of mild-mannered Bruce Banner, wait till you see him now. Peter Parker is a man with the proportional strength and agility of a spider, capable of lifting trains on his bad days. And he's about to get a big, green power-up - with a temper to match.

Yeah, it's basically a fill-in issue of Immortal. It's not gonna matter, it won't change your life, and it won't eventually pay for all those medical face masks you'll need in the future. What it is, is a really well written one shot with solid art that should make Jim Cheung nervous. It's written by Tom Taylor, and he's definitely one to watch. With Dceased, Suicide Squad, and now this single issue that was so begging to be lame, he's shown that he's got the chops, or in the case of Dceased, the chomps. Highly recommended for those who realize that not every single story can change everything, fans of fun Loki cameos, and anybody with a ripped costume "thing", not that there's anything wrong with that.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
