 While well written and interesting, Vortex is covering ground that has been walked over many times before. That being said, the story continues to be a good read. A good sturdy story with interesting characters. And while, there are no Twilight Zone surprises, it's still worth the read. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
