BONUS REVIEW by John Elle

"Through the summer rain of 1845..." After months of waiting, King Diamond's Classic has finally arrived in graphic novel format! For a book that was kickstarted, solicited, cancelled and resolicited (and resolicited again) I couldn't wait to crack this tome open. I was not dissapointed one bit. The interior art is a fantastic mixed bag. Many vibrant colors, however very dark, making some panels hard to make out and there are some odd panel placements making it tricky to figure out what narrative to read next, but other than that a fantastic read, even if you are not familiar with the underlying story. Giving it an 8 for the 2 small nitpicks and how long it took for this book to come out. Would recommend this for fans of Victorian Horror, Gothic horror, theatrical Heavy Metal or if you're just looking for a good Ghost Story. Just keep one thing in mind. "Remember the stairs..."

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
