The Nth Metal Man has arrived from the Dark Multiverse right into Dr. Klyburn's research site-and it will destroy anything that stands in the way of it trying to stay in our world. As Magnus, Gold, Platinum, Iron, Lead, and Mercury rush to Dr. Klyburn's aid, one of them will meet their fate at the hands of Nth Metal Man! But who? And how? How is even crazier! Read this issue to find out!

It's always nice to see that Dan Didio and Shane Davis actually do get it. The Metal Men are part of that rare time and place when comics were on their game. Characters like the Challengers of the Unknown, The Sea Devils, and Cave Carson's band sparked our creativity and reflected the ingenuity of the times. Times when we were putting men on the moon and the Metal Men were certainly part of that. That's why creative teams keep trying to reboot them every few years. And while this maxi-series is an offshoot of the whole Nth metal/Dark Multiverse thing, the good folks here are choosing to highlight what made the Metal Men great in the beginning. From the energy shooting eyes creature to Chemo, the past is here in glorious color. And in all honesty, I could do without the whole Metal Men version of Doc Magnus. DC has been turning that poor bastage back and forth for decades. Is it any wonder he cracked up? This title is definately stealing the show.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
