Mystery Men #1

Mystery Men #1

$2.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by DAVID LISS
Pencils & Covers by PATRICK ZIRCHER
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

Marvel heroes from the early 1930's, well written by David Liss and with EXCEPTIONAL artwork from Patrick Zircher (dang - when did Zircher get so good?). Evidently I can't get my TWELVE fix so this fills that void. Still think it's a DICK move by MARVEL to use the name and phrase 'WHO ARE THE MYSTERYMEN?" when it's already tied to Bob Burden's Mystery Men. But scummy business practices aside it turned out to be a great comic for fans missing MARVELS absentee title The Twelve.
