(W) Scott Snyder
(A/CA) Tony S. Daniel, Tomeu Morey
'FULL THROTTLE DARK,' Part Four-The road runs out as Val reaches the fabled location of her promised sanctuary. Will she find the haven she so desperately seeks, or will something far more terrifying be waiting for her?

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Scott Snyder's homage to Stephen King continues in Nocterra #4. Big premise, good characters, world ending stakes, and the impending feeling that the ending will be vague or terrible or both.

For now, its neither. We're in the best part, the world building stage. Things get a little bigger w/ every issue, Val (our lead) and Em (her brother) are getting rounded out nicely, and there's enough back story peppered in to give the reader something a little less fantastical to relate to.

Tony Daniel continues to be the good version of Tony Daniel, making a recognizable version of the world even with the visual changes a good societal collapse will bring.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
