Quicksilver No Surrender #1

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Saladin Ahmed
(A) Eric Nguyen
(CA) Martin Simmonds
RACING OUT OF THE PAGES OF 'AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER'!
Quicksilver's super-speed and abrasive personality have always isolated him, but he's never been truly alone…until now.
Trapped beyond the perception of friends, family and allies, Quicksilver wages a one-man guerilla war against a monster that he's not even sure is real, to save a world that he may never be a part of again.
Saladin Ahmed (BLACK BOLT) and Eric Nguyen (OLD MAN LOGAN) team up to bring you a psychedelic survival thriller unlike anything you've seen before! Rated T+

What If? A Quicksilver mini-series was made out of a forest and nobody cared? Relax, kids! There weren't enough copies printed to even say "forest". A small copse, maybe. Anyway, if you're a fan of the titular character, you should definitely check this one out. It's swinging for the Vision fence, but really only makes it to a good Paul Jenkins Inhumans comic. (Let's just say the close part of the outfield, then) (That's a baseball reference for all you indoor kids). It's particularly good if you were a fan of the Avengers No Surrender story. Highly recommended for fans of "speedster" books, and for those who maybe like their sisters a little too much.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
