Serenity No Power In The Verse #6 (2016) $3.99 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Chris Roberson (A) Georges Jeanty, Karl Story (CA) Daniel Dos Santos The Serenity crew's fight against Kalista continues! Mal isn't willing to leave River behind, but he's risking his crew-and more-to get her back. Date Available: 03/29/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
The crew of the Firefly Serenity finishes their latest venture with some serious changes. River is a threat again, no longer trusted by the crew she travels with. Mal and Inara are not a couple. Jayne is at least pretending to want to play nice with others for a greater good. Come to think of it, that's pretty much where we were before the 'Serenity' movie, right? That's one of the big failings of this series compared to previous voyages in the 'verse. Writer Chris Roberson even falls into the licensed comic trap of repeating moments or dialogue that we loved the first time around. There is at least the promise of something new moving forward. I'd really like to see a 'Whedon' attached to the project as more than just the executive producer. I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
