Silver Coin is a horror anthology series. Many writers, one artist, Michael Walsh. Lemme explain...no, there's no time, lemme sum up: You get the coin, you're not starring in the next issue.

This issue features a particularly stomach churning round of awfulness courtesy of writer Johnnie Christmas. A pregnant woman, a relationship on the rocks, and one silver coin. The nightmare imagery of Walsh owes a bit to Akira in one key sequence, but is up to the challenge. The challenge, btw, is trying to get what's inside you out for the world to see. Given the subject matter, its a perfect fit.

Recommended for people with strong stomachs, no kids, and fans of The Omen.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
