* What turned young Erica into the monster hunter she is today? * Discover Erica Slaughter's true origin as she is further initiated into the House of Slaughter. But will she be sorted into the prestigious White Room, or the dreaded Black Room with her new nemesis Aaron?
Date Available: 06/23/2021
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Proof that the old saying "When life gives you dead parents and a dead best friend, make lemonade" is true.

This is such a small scope issue. Erica is moved thru three rooms in the House of Slaughter, and her sponsor has a drink. That's it. In those tiny moves we learn about how recruits are found, what the expectations are for them, what Erica's fate should have been and why she was exempted from it. This gives all the context necessary to re-read the first 15 issues to understand the danger she kept putting herself in.

It's a bloody great book with a growing readership. The first two collections are our Number 1&2 best selling graphic novels. No better time to be late to the game than now.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
